One of my favourite products made by Nomad has to be the NomadKey, a tiny charging cable that attaches onto your keychain giving you an easy way to charge your devices on the move.
Weighing in at just 7g and featuring a very stealthy key-shaped design, the NomadKey is great for light packers who want to take only the bare essentials on their travels.
You won’t get the length of a traditional micro USB or Lightning cable of course — the NomadKey is only a few centimetres long — but it’s just enough to plug into a battery pack like their PowerPlant or laptop’s USB port without a problem.
Even if you do need to dangle it from somewhere like a TV’s USB port, the NomadKey is super flexible and made out of high-grade polycarbonate, so it’ll deal well with any bending or strain you’ll put on it.
It costs £20/$20, so whether it’s worth the cost depends entirely on how much use you’ll get out of it. (Someone who’s always at a desk for example probably won’t.) In my case, I can genuinely say that the NomadKey has saved my ass on countless occasions when I’ve been out and about and forgot my cables & battery packs at home.
